Job Description:
Practice in safe, family community located in Laurinburg, NC. We are just 30 minutes from the Southern Pines/Pinehurst area and 45 minutes to 2 hours from the state's largest cities and beaches. Scotland Memorial Hospital is proud of our culture, $68 million surgical renovation, and our new Da Vinci Robot. We have also earned an A" Safety Rating from Leapfrog.
Hospice of Scotland County is searching for a Hospice and Palliative Care Medical Director to provide professional expertise as a member of the Hospice and Palliative Care Leadership team, Physician will by oversee and supervise the medical aspects of the Hospice and Palliative Care program and act as a consultant and advisor to the Board of Trustees.� Physician will work closely with the Executive Director and leaders of the Inpatient and Homecare Services and the Hospice interdisciplinary care team to provide high quality compassionate care. Physician will participate in community education and growth strategy for the service line and report to the Executive Director with oversight by the Chief Medical Officer for Scotland Health.�
