Description

Central Hospitality is responsible for keeping buildings in clean and orderly condition; performing heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, removing rubbish; and prepping for events and Small Group gatherings.

Requirements

• •Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming them
• •Gather and empty trash
• •Service, clean and supply restrooms
• •Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
• •Clean windows, partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
• •Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment
• •Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications
• •Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
• •Keep clean and organize all supplies in janitorial closets
• •Coordinate with first shift Hospitality worker as it pertains to maintaining all stock of janitorial supplies as well as proper working of all equipment
• •Inform Facilities Manager of any building-related repairs that need to be performed
• •Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created
• •Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks
• •Set up, arrange and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders and scaffolding to prepare facilities for worship experiences and Small Group meetings
• •Provide plus one customer service while hosting Small Groups as scheduled while maximizing time to complete cleaning responsibilities
• •If working at Cliffdale Site, carry and answer the Hospitality phone
• •Show flexibility regarding filing in for other shifts across all Fayetteville/Ft. Liberty sites as needed
