Stanford’s Restaurant and Bar ( www.stanfords.com ) is on the lookout for a dynamic and driven full-time Host to join our team at our Classic American Steakhouse located in Northgate, Seattle, WA. Pay rate:

$20.76 plus tips

Responsibilities:

• •Arrive at work on time and in proper uniform, prepared to execute exceptional shifts. Open the door for guests.
• •Keep lines from forming at the door.
• •Answer incoming reservation calls.?
• •Complete reservations in the computerized reservation system.?
• •Keep abreast of all food & beverage venues and menus.?
• •Perform other related duties as assigned.?
• •Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner.?
• •Answer the telephone and facilitate guest requests.?
• •Using the table management system, manage incoming reservations and venue floor.?
• •Bid all guests farewell and invite them back to Stanford’s.
• •Assist with daily administrative work as per direction of the venue manager.?

Physical demands and work environment:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and use hands to perform essential job functions. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

Requirements:

• •Prior related experience preferred.
• •Reliable transportation to and from work.
• •Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests as well as all levels of employees in both verbal and written form in a professional manner.?
• •Ability to manipulate the MICROS POS system and accurately input orders and post transactions.?
• •Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.?
• •Ability to provide direction in a fast-paced environment; manage time effectively and work well in a team environment.?
• •Must possess excellent customer relations, sales, & communication skills.?
• •Must possess at all times during employment a valid Washington State Department of Health Food Handler permit.
• •A desire to learn, grow, and a passion for progress in this career.
