Position Summary :

The Sky House Busser/Host is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for greeting and seating them in a friendly and efficient manner. They manage reservations, waitlists, and coordinate seating flow to ensure smooth restaurant operations and a positive guest experience. Additionally they support the dining room team by clearing and resetting tables, refilling water, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant. They help ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience for guests.

Typical shift is 10:00am-4:00pm and must have open availability during weekends and holidays.

Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities :

• •Assist cashiers by retrieving and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils and napkins.
• •Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards.
• •Remove used plates, glasses, utensils from table after customers are done eating.
• •Clean up water spills, food stains and debris from tables.
• •Take out trash and recycling.
• •Refilling paper napkins, condiments, salt, and pepper shakers.
• •Cleaning and bussing both The Nest & Red Hawk Café dining area throughout the shift.
• •Help cashiers with side work.

License/Certifications - None

Technical - None

• Physical Capabilities - Able to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per shift. Will lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally. Ability to ski or snowboard at an intermediate level is preferred. Exposed to ice/snow coming to and from work.
• Additional - Strong attention to detail. Must be capable of managing and performing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Education/Related Experience :

Minimum education required - English reading, writing and communication; plus basic math.
