Grandfather Golf & Country Club is seeking a friendly and professional Hostesses to join our team. We have part time positions available. As a Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our members and guests and will play a key role in ensuring that they have a memorable dining experience. Our hostesses are responsible for creating the first and last impression of the club experience for Members and

guests! This position requires a very careful adherence to well-defined work and there is much consistency from one day to the next in this role.

Responsibilities:

• •Greeting guests as they arrive and seating them at tables in a timely and efficient manner.
• •Answering phone calls, making reservations, and taking Togo food orders
• •Communicating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure that all member/guest requests are met.
• •Providing excellent customer service by answering questions and fulfilling special requests
• •Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the hostess stand and lobby area.
• •Assist supervisors with floor plans.
• •Assist server, when needed in a timely and efficient manner.
• •Clearing tables and resetting them for the next members/guests
• •Assist with set up and break down of events
• •Providing excellent customer service to our guests by answering questions and fulfilling special requests
• •Assisting with other duties as assigned by management.
• •Must be available to work holidays through July.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• •High school diploma or equivalent
• •Previous experience in the food service industry preferred, but not required.
• •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• •Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• •Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 pounds.
• •Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements

• •Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• •Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and carry out repetitive motions as needed
• •Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
• •Abilitity to work efficiently in a busy dining environment
