Housekeeper

POSITION SUMMARY:

Works under minimal supervision performing basic housekeeping duties to provide a safe and clean environment for Kenneth Copeland Ministries’ team members and visitors.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• •Cleaning and restocking restrooms in various areas of the ministry
• •Sweeping and mopping floors
• •Vacuuming carpet using both standard size vacuum and “Big vac ”
• •Dusting all common areas and Supervisor’s and Director’s offices
• •Cleaning and vacuuming stairways
• •Cleaning Dining Room tables and vacuuming Dining room carpet
• •Clean second floor back hallway
• •Fill in as necessary when someone is out
• •Work overtime as needed
• •Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• •Previous housekeeping experience is preferred
• •May be required to fill in when someone is out of the department.
• •All other duties as assigned by Lead Housekeeper or Hospitality Manager or Assistant Manager or Supervisor

EQUIPMENT TO BE USED:

Vacuum cleaners and other cleaning equipment, chemicals and solvents

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• •Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• •Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• •Requires normal range of hearing and vision
• •Must be able to pull, push, stand, sit, stoop, bend, reach, move, operate or carry equipment
• •Requires manual dexterity sufficient to use hand tools
• •Available to work overtime as needed

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work in an office environment performing housekeeping duties

OTHER:

• •Born again believer and must adhere to the doctrines of this organization as upheld by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and their appointed representatives
• •Must work well with others, as a team and according to Romans 16:17, must not cause dissension, difficulties and divisions
• •Must maintain a good attendance record
• •Because of the wide range of personal contact with ministry leaders within and outside the organization, this position requires considerable diplomacy, maturity, and excellent communication skills
• •Ability to work with people of all cultures
