The Pillars of Biloxi is looking for a Housekeeper to join our growing team!

Housekeeper duties include but are not limited to:

• •Clean resident rooms, offices, and common areas using standard procedures (vacuuming, mopping, wiping, polishing, etc.)
• •Ensure residents’ rooms are safe, comfortable, and maintained attractively while safeguarding personal items
• •Clean spills, soiled areas, and other hazards promptly
• •Follow cleaning schedules and maintain equipment and supply carts
• •Sweep, vacuum, scrub, strip, wax, and buff floors
• •Move and replace furniture and assist in heavy lifting as needed
• •Ensure proper lighting, cleanliness of storage and exterior areas
• •Coordinate daily housekeeping services with other departments
• •Follow all rules regarding Residents’ Rights
• •Maintain safety by adhering to procedures for cleaners, hazardous materials, infection control, isolation, fire, safety, and sanitation
• •Report hazardous conditions, accidents, and incidents to supervisors promptly
• •Attend orientation, in-service training, and staff meetings; assist in training new staff members
• •Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• •No prior experience or formal training required
• •Ability to read simple words and sentences, perform basic math operations, and follow written/oral instructions
• •Ability to promote positive relationships with residents, visitors, and regulators
• •Physically able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift up to 50 pounds, and handle repetitive motions
• •Willingness to work in environments with moderate noise, vibration, chemical exposure, and varying weather conditions
