Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping / Laundry Aide to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. This role plays a key part in infection control and overall resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• •Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
• •Perform laundry duties (wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens/clothing)
• •Sweep, mop, and maintain floors throughout the facility
• •Sanitize surfaces including handrails, fixtures, and high-touch areas
• •Empty trash and manage waste disposal properly
• •Follow infection control and safety protocols
• •Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• •Maintain organized housekeeping carts and supply areas
• •Report safety concerns and supply needs promptly
• •Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude

Qualifications

• •Must be 18 years or older
• •Housekeeping experience required (healthcare or long-term care preferred)
• •Compassion for an underserved population
• •Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• •Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
• •Good communication and teamwork skills
• •High school diploma or equivalent preferred
