Description

Are you seeking a meaningful way to serve youth in need? Goshen Valley offers a unique opportunity to live and work in a supportive, faith-driven community. As a Houseparent, you will create a nurturing home environment, mentor youth through their healing journey, and help them build a foundation for a hopeful future

Goshen New Beginnings , our independent living program for eighteen- to twenty-one-year-old young adults, is seeking Houseparent(s). This could be a married couple, or single houseparent for this particular role. However, the Respite House Parent role is more suited for single individuals. For the primary House Parent position, preference will be given to a married couple. Because this position involves living in a home with young adults who may have complex needs and require focused supervision, we have found that it is not conducive to have minor children residing in the home. This consideration is intended to support the safety, stability, and well-being of everyone in the household.

Why Join Goshen Valley?

  • Named an AJC Top Workplace (2021–2025)
  • A place of healing and purpose for both youth and staff
  • A close-knit community where your ministry can flourish

As the Houseparent(s) you will be responsible for providing oversight of the home and the residents, managing the home, carrying out the structure in the home, cooking, cleaning, administering medication, transporting, supervising, and addressing behavioral issues as they arise. When not needed in this capacity, you will provide program support as needed.
