(HQ) Accounting & Reporting Supervisor/Assistant Manager

About the Role:

The position is responsible for the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements. The role supports management through financial reporting, analysis, and insights for decision-making, while also coordinating audit, and statutory filings. In addition, the position contributes to process improvements, system implementation, and cross-department collaboration to enhance overall efficiency and support the company’s sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and consolidate group financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and regulatory standards.

Oversee daily accounting operations, reconciliations, audits, and tax filings.

Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and strengthen internal controls.

Collaborate with cross-functional and regional teams on financial and compliance matters.

Qualifications:

Over 8 years of professional experience at a Big 5 accounting firm and 3 years in a corporate environment, with a strong focus on consolidation reporting and related financial tasks.

Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting standards.

Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle

CPA qualification a plus.

Strong English communication skills. Japanese language proficiency is a plus.
