Sompo has a unique opportunity for a Human Resources Associate in our Human Resources team.

This entry level role provides analytical and administrative support on Human Resources projects and processes as a member of the Organizational Effectiveness (OE) team, which includes Learning & Development, Engagement & Inclusion, Employee Experience and Talent Management. Offering broad exposure to areas within HR, the HR Associate is organized, detail-oriented, proactive and is able to leverage strong interpersonal and technical skills to support the team effectively.

What you’ll be doing :

Provide administrative and creative support in the creation of documents and presentations; maintain a library of presentations

Enter/maintain data in business systems such as Workday, Monday.com, and other internal business process systems ensuring accuracy, completeness and confidentiality

Participate on projects; duties may include gathering data, entering data, providing analysis and updates, tracking deliverables

Maintain budget tracking for assigned expenses; process business expenses as assigned

What you’ll bring:

Strong organization, attention to detail, discretion, confidentiality, and ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.

Relevant HR course work or certification and/or familiarity with HR systems or reporting tools is advantageous.

Proven experience and interest in working on business related technology and systems; demonstrable skill set working with Microsoft Office tools, with particular focus on Excel and PowerPoint.

Comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously while supporting multiple stakeholders.

Collaborative, proactive and willing to learn.

Ability to leverage AI tools responsibly to improve efficiency, support document drafting and analysis.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; previous internship, placement, or entry-level experience in Human Resources preferred.

Salary Range : $80,000 - $95,000.00. Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.
