About the Role

We’re looking for a commercially minded, high-impact HR Business Partner to join Tripledot Games (TDG).

This is a key strategic hire working closely with the VP People to help shape, implement, and embed a high-performance culture across TDG. The role will partner directly with senior leaders across two critical areas of the business: Zephyr Mobile and the wider Engineering organisation across Tripledot Games.

You’ll operate as both a strategic partner and hands-on operator, helping leaders scale teams, raise performance standards, strengthen organisational capability, and navigate growth and change in a fast-paced global gaming environment.

The ideal candidate is commercially sharp, data-driven, highly collaborative, and comfortable balancing strategic thinking with practical execution. You’ll thrive in ambiguity, move quickly, and bring a modern, pragmatic approach to people partnership.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic People Partnership

Partner with studio and functional leaders to shape people strategies that support business growth, performance, and organisational effectiveness.

Work closely with the VP People to help embed and scale a high-performance culture across TDG.

Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on organisation design, leadership capability, workforce planning, engagement, and performance.

Translate business priorities into practical, scalable people initiatives and actions.

Performance & Talent

Drive high standards of performance management, accountability, and feedback across your areas.

Support leaders in identifying, developing, and retaining top talent and critical capabilities.

Facilitate talent reviews, succession planning, and development discussions.

Coach managers on performance conversations, team effectiveness, and leadership impact.

Organisational Effectiveness & Change

Partner with leaders through periods of growth, transformation, restructuring, and change.

Support organisational design and scaling initiatives across engineering and studio teams.

Use data and insight to identify people risks, trends, and opportunities, helping leaders make informed decisions.

Collaborate with centres of expertise and wider People teams to deliver impactful solutions across learning, reward, engagement, and hiring.

Employee Experience & Culture

Own and improve key people practices and employee lifecycle experiences within your business areas.

Help create an inclusive, high-performing environment where people can do their best work.

Champion initiatives that strengthen engagement, collaboration, communication, and leadership effectiveness.

Support the evolution of modern people practices that are scalable, lightweight, and fit for a fast-moving gaming company.

Operational Excellence

Balance strategic partnership with strong operational execution and follow-through.

Build trusted relationships across globally distributed teams and studios.

Partner effectively with Talent Acquisition/HR Ops/L&D and wider HR teams to support growth plans and hiring needs.

Requirements

HRBP experience within a fast-paced, commercial, scaling business — ideally within gaming, tech, product, or digital environments.

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to deeply understand business priorities and connect them to people strategy.

Experience partnering with senior leaders in product, engineering, or technical organisations.

Proven ability to influence, challenge, and coach leaders effectively.

Experience operating in high-growth or rapidly changing environments.

Strong understanding of performance management, talent development, organisational design, and employee engagement.

Comfortable using data and insight to support decision-making and prioritisation.

Pragmatic, low-ego, hands-on approach with strong execution capability.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple cultures and geographies.

Experience supporting globally distributed teams is highly desirable.

Exposure to M&A integration, studio integration, or organisational transformation is a plus.

Progressive, modern view of HR with a focus on simplicity, impact, and user experience.

Comfortable travelling occasionally to support studios and leadership teams.

What Success Looks Like

Strong, trusted partnerships with leaders across Zephyr Mobile and Engineering.

Clear improvements in leadership capability, organisational effectiveness, and performance standards.

Scalable people practices that support growth without unnecessary bureaucracy.

Better visibility of talent, people risks, and capability gaps.

A stronger culture of accountability, feedback, and high performance across the organisation.
