Job Summary

Intellicene builds video management and security intelligence software that helps organizations see what matters most and act on it immediately. Our platform, which includes Intellicene VMS, Intellicene Control, and NowForce, unifies video, sensors, incident management, and mobile response for customers in critical infrastructure, public safety, transportation, retail, gaming and hospitality, and enterprise security. Our newest AI-driven products, Insight and Scout, extend the platform with automated anomaly detection and investigation capabilities that are shaping the next chapter of the company.

We are a business unit of Volaris Group, an operating group of Constellation Software Inc. Volaris acquires and holds software companies for the long term and runs them with a high degree of autonomy. That means Intellicene operates like an independent company, with its own leadership team, P&L, and culture, while drawing on the people programs, talent frameworks, and peer network of a large global portfolio.

We are roughly 120 people worldwide. About 70% of our team is based in the United States, with the balance across international locations that include engineering, sales, delivery, and support. Around half of the company is engineering, DevOps, and QA, so our people practices need to work for a technical, largely distributed workforce as well as for sales, professional services, customer care, finance, and marketing. Intellicene does leverage EOR partner relationships globally where they do not have a legal entity established. The ideal candidate will be familiar with these international labor arrangements and be able to navigate management of 3rd party vendors as well as legal entity setup; where Intellicene can convert EOR to full time Intellicene employees.

Job Description

About the Role

Intellicene is seeking a hands-on, commercially minded HR Manager to provide dedicated support to employees and leaders across the Americas. Reporting to the CEO / General Manager, you will work closely with our existing HR partner and the Volaris Portfolio HR team to deliver consistent, practical people practices across our geographically dispersed workforce.

This role spans the employee lifecycle within your areas of responsibility, from coaching leaders on organizational and talent decisions to supporting Talent Review, compensation cycles, and employee relations. You will take ownership of assigned priorities while collaborating with HR colleagues on company-wide programs and matters requiring cross-regional coordination.

Intellicene is in the middle of an important transition: sharpening our focus, embedding AI across the product roadmap, and building the operating discipline of a durable, profitable software business. The people agenda is central to that work. This is an opportunity to shape how a company of our size attracts, develops, and keeps the people it needs for its next stage.

Key Responsibilitie s

Strategic partnership and leadership coaching

  • Partner with the CEO, senior leaders, and HR colleagues on organizational design, workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, and people decisions.
  • Coach people managers across the company on employee relations, performance, development, difficult conversations, and building strong, accountable teams.
  • Bring a clear point of view on workforce trends, risks, and opportunities, backed by data, and turn it into practical recommendations the business can act on.

Talent management and development

  • Partner with the existing HR team to coordinate the annual Talent Review and calibration cycle in Workday, including leadership preparation and follow-through on development and succession actions.
  • Support the performance management cycle in partnership with HR colleagues and business leaders.
  • Build development paths that retain senior engineering, product, and customer-facing talent in a competitive technology labor market.

Talent acquisiti on

  • Partner with hiring managers on workforce needs, role definition, sourcing strategy, selection, offers, and onboarding across all functions and regions.
  • Manage recruiter and agency relationships and keep hiring cost-effective, fast, and consistent with our compensation structure.

Employee relations, change, and transitions

  • Manage employee relations matters within assigned regions, collaborating with the existing HR partner, Portfolio HR, and local advisors as appropriate.
  • Support the people workstream for organizational changes, restructurings, role transitions, and acquisition or integration activity in partnership with HR colleagues.
  • Represent employee feedback in leadership planning and collaborate on Peakon engagement survey activities and follow-up actions.
  • Coordinate with the existing HR partner on third-party employment arrangements and EOR providers for supported employees.
  • Total rewards, engagement, and recognition
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs across jurisdictions, support the annual compensation cycle, and benchmark technical and commercial roles against the market.
  • Collaborate on employee recognition, engagement, and retention initiatives, and evaluate their effectiveness.

Compliance, operations, and systems

Support compliant HR practices across assigned jurisdictions in partnership with the existing HR partner, local counsel, and Portfolio HR.

Maintain accurate employee data in Workday and collaborate with HR colleagues on headcount, attrition, and workforce reporting.

Implement Intellicene, Portfolio, and Volaris people programs, policies, and processes, and adapt them sensibly to a company of our size.

About Yo u

  • 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role supporting employees and managers across multiple locations.
  • Experience in a software or technology company, supporting a workforce with a large engineering population, is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience supporting employees in multiple countries, including direct exposure to US employment law and practical familiarity with international employment requirements.
  • Broad generalist depth across employee relations, talent management, recruiting, performance, compensation, and HR operations. You have done the work yourself, not only directed it.
  • Strong manager coaching, judgment, and relationship-building skills, with the credibility to advise a CEO and the approachability to be trusted by an individual contributor.
  • Commercially minded. You understand how a software business makes money and can balance business needs, employee experience, and HR requirements without defaulting to any one of them.
  • Comfortable taking initiative in a decentralized environment while collaborating closely with HR colleagues and business leaders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and analytical skills. Workday experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or comparable certification preferred.
  • Ability to support working hours across the Americas and travel approximately 10–15% as business needs require.

What Success Looks Like

In your first year, you have built trusted relationships with leaders and employees across the Americas and established an effective working partnership with the existing HR partner and Portfolio HR. Together, you help managers become stronger people leaders, support timely and meaningful talent and performance cycles, maintain reliable employee data, and deliver a consistent, positive employee experience.

Why Intellicene

  • You have meaningful ownership of HR priorities in the Americas while working alongside an established HR partner and the broader Volaris Portfolio HR network.
  • You work directly with the CEO and the senior leadership team on the issues that matter most to the business.
  • You join a company at an inflection point, with an AI-driven product roadmap and a clear strategic direction
