Are you an experienced HR Operations and Payroll professional who combines hands-on expertise with people management skills?

At Kramp, we are looking for an HR Operations & Payroll Team Manager to lead our HR Connect team and ensure high-quality payroll and HR administration services for employees and managers across CEE Cluster.

This is a role for someone who understands the detail behind accurate payroll, but also sees the bigger picture: developing people, improving processes, strengthening compliance and creating a better experience for employees and managers. You will have the opportunity to shape the way we work, drive digitalisation and cooperate with HR colleagues across Poland, Central and Eastern Europe and our global organisation.

Your role

As HR Operations & Payroll Team Manager, you will lead a team of Payroll and HR Specialists and take ownership of the quality, accuracy and timeliness of our payroll and HR administration services.

You will combine day-to-day operational leadership with process improvement, compliance and cooperation with HR Business Partners, business leaders and Global HR teams.

Your specific responsibilities include:

  • Taking ownership of accurate and timely payroll delivery, including payroll calculation, validation, reconciliation and control of payroll data.
  • Overseeing HR administration processes and employee documentation, ensuring compliance with Polish labour law, tax and social security regulations, as well as internal HR policies and standards.
  • Coordinating payroll documentation and input data for selected CEE countries in cooperation with local partners and providers, while supporting managers and HR Business Partners with payroll, HR administration and employment law matters.
  • Leading and developing the HR Connect team, setting priorities, monitoring performance and ensuring high-quality HR administration and payroll services for employees and managers.
  • Driving the standardisation, digitalisation and automation of HR processes, monitoring service quality and implementing improvements that increase efficiency and enhance the employee and manager experience.

You will also represent Kramp during relevant audits and inspections and cooperate with HR Business Partners, business leaders and Global HR teams in implementing global HR solutions, standards, people policies and reward initiatives.

Who are you?

You are an experienced HR Operations and Payroll professional who combines strong payroll and administration expertise with a practical and service-oriented management style.

You are comfortable taking responsibility for complex and sensitive matters, making decisions and addressing difficult issues when necessary. You understand that successful payroll and HR administration are built not only on accuracy and compliance, but also on trust, clear communication and continuous improvement.

For this role, we are looking for:

  • Approximately 5-7 years of experience in HR Operations, HR administration and payroll, including hands-on payroll experience.
  • Experience in leading a team and managing day-to-day HR and payroll operations.
  • Very good knowledge of Polish labour law, payroll, tax and social security regulations.
  • Experience in process improvement, standardisation, digitalisation or automation within HR Operations.
  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail, combined with the ability to manage priorities and maintain high quality in a dynamic environment.
  • The ability to work effectively with managers, HR Business Partners, external providers, business leaders and Global HR teams.
  • Very good command of both Polish and English, written and spoken.

A university degree, preferably in HR, Finance, Business Administration, Law or a related field, will support you in this role. An equivalent level of relevant professional experience will also be considered.

Experience with TETA and/or Workday will be an advantage.
