The HRIS Specialist will play a crucial supporting role within the Business Analysis team, focused primarily on UAT, feasibility checking, impact analysis, documentation, and research to ensure smooth operations and functional reliability of our tools and processes.

This position offers a hands-on opportunity to learn the fundamentals of business analysis, system support, and operational efficiency within a corporate environment. The intern will assist Business Analysts (BAs) in managing workflows, maintaining critical resources, and contributing to ongoing projects.

• •Work across the various Essex Workday Modules: HCM (Benefits, Compensation), Advanced Compensation, Performance & Talent, Time Tracking, Absence, Workday Adaptive, Recruiting, and Learning.
• •Participate on bi-annual Workday Feature Release Testing and Documentation
• •Partner closely with HRIS team, business, and support teams to understand system end-user needs and provide recommendations
• •Assist in rollout and implementation of HR programs.
• •Documents requirements, processes, solution recommendations, test plans, and change management impacts.
• •Respond to employee, manager, and HR team requests and escalate issues as appropriate
• •Analyzes, troubleshoots and helps resolve HRIS issues in a timely manner.
• •Continuously increases knowledge in HR technology by serving as an expert on functional capabilities, staying informed on product capabilities and trends, and interacting with vendor communities.
• •Coordinate and perform system testing to ensure requirements are met
• •Assist project team during user acceptance testing (UAT); including tracking issues through to resolution and securing end user acceptance signoff
• •May guide and/or assist with other Human Resources Information Systems projects as assigned.
