HVAC Install Technician

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• •Complete tear out of old HVAC equipment and installation of new system.
• •Test newly installed systems to ensure proper operation, air flow, and refrigerant charge.
• •Collaborate with team members to coordinate installations, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of projects.
• •Adhere to safety procedures and regulations while working on HVAC systems, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others.
• •Provide exceptional customer service by answering client questions, explaining system operation, and offering maintenance and energy-saving tips.
• •Complete necessary detailing of job orders to accurately document all work performed.

Schedule:

• •4-day work week with 2-day, 3-day, and 5-day breaks every 4 weeks
• •40 to 50-hour work schedules available, with voluntary options to sign up for additional hours

Skills & Qualifications:

• •Strong knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and their components.
• •Mechanically inclined and unwilling to cut corners.
• •Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• •Works effectively to complete jobs in a timely, efficient manner.
• •Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• •Exceptional ability to communicate company deals, programs, and products to customers.
• •Excellent communication skills to coordinate installation with 2-3 other install technicians.
• •Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers on a daily basis.

Requirements:

• •2 years of HVAC installation experience preferred, but not required
• •Able to pass a driving record check and maintain a clean driving record
• •Able to pass a pre-employment background check
• •Able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and subsequent, periodic drug screening (including for marijuana)
• •Hold OSHA and EPA certifications or willing to obtain
