Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Hydro-Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a Hydro-Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing hydroelectric power systems and components. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful implementation of hydroelectric projects.
Responsibilities:
Design and optimize hydroelectric power generation systems
Conduct feasibility studies and analyze project requirements
Perform technical calculations and simulations for system performance
Collaborate with civil engineers and environmental scientists for project integration
Evaluate and select equipment and materials for hydroelectric systems
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Strong knowledge of hydroelectric power systems and technologies
Proficiency in electrical design and analysis software (e.g., ETAP, PSCAD)
Experience with hydroelectric project management and construction
Knowledge of environmental and sustainability considerations in hydroelectric projects
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Salary Range: $90,000 - $140,000 per year
