Job Summary

This role provides advanced technical expertise in executing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant systems. The Senior Technician is responsible for troubleshooting complex equipment issues, performing inspections, testing, calibration, and repairs, and ensuring work is carried out in compliance with safety standards and maintenance procedures. The role supports equipment reliability, operational performance, and continuous improvement while providing technical guidance and coaching to junior technicians. This role focuses on instrumentation, control, and automation systems, including DCS, PLC, Mark-VI, and field instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• •Ensure compliance with safety procedures, permits, and risk assessment requirements.
• •Supervise contractors as assigned, ensuring safety and quality compliance.
• •Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to ensure reliable and safe operation of plant equipment.
• •Conduct inspections, testing, and repairs in accordance with technical standards and maintenance procedures.
• •Perform installation, commissioning, and modification of equipment and systems.
• •Perform maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation, control, and automation systems (DCS, PLC, Mark VI field devices, etc.).
• •Conduct loop checking, signal testing, and tuning to ensure control system performance.
• •Troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• •Support root cause analysis (RCA) by providing technical input and recommendations.
• •Identify performance issues and propose improvement solutions.
• •Execute work orders in CMMS (SAP) and ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
• •Provide technical guidance and coaching to junior technicians.
• •Maintain tools, equipment, and working areas in proper condition.
• •Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of maintenance activities.
