Grace Adventures is a religious organization that makes employment decisions on Bible based beliefs and practices. Because of the nature of our Christian program; Christian belief, character, and practice are essential requirements of employment positions.

SUMMARY OF POSITION: Fulfill the ministry of Grace Adventures and demonstrate the foot washing philosophy by serving guests while maintaining a standard of excellence in the campground ice cream shop. This person must be friendly and engaging towards guests.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain Inventory- work with Ice Cream Supervisor to create orders
  • Ensure cleanliness standards are met each night at closing
  • Assist Ice Cream Supervisor with staff training
  • Restock and reset shop daily after each evening closing
  • Have an understanding of products offered in the ice cream shop
  • Maintain the shop in a clean and neat condition; always be in a ready state
  • Maintain neat and professional appearance in compliance with Dunes Harbor’s dress code
  • Be a positive influence on staff
  • Handle money and make change correctly
  • Obey all policies and rules
  • All other duties as assigned

RESPONSIBLE TO: Dunes Harbor Family Camp Director

REPORTS TO: Ice Cream Supervisor

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum age: 18
  • Have a personal growing relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Ability to interact well with others
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Is willing to have a flexible schedule (evenings and weekends)
  • Good health and stamina is required to implement campground programming. This will involve long hours and lifting at times.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
