Apply for an exciting internship opportunity as an IEI Systems Engineering Intern !

The Systems and Renewable Energy Engineering Team is looking for an IEI Systems Engineering Intern. The Systems and Renewable Energy Engineering team has active work in tools, subsea cable protection systems, and renewable energy products and is made up of mechanical, electrical and software engineers as well as a drafter and technician. In this role, you'll support business development or product management with a diverse product set while learning about brainstorming and new product development processes. Your work will include design for manufacturability and assembly, DFMEA, and risk assessment. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience supporting an engineering team with innovation, product design and testing!

What You Will Bring

Currently enrolled in an accredited 4-year mechanical engineering degree program
Completed at least 4 semesters by start of internship
CAD experience is required, experience on Siemens NX is a plus
FEA knowledge and interest in materials science preferred
Good communication and presentation skills

Pay rates for this role start at $21.75/hr.
