100% Remote · Full-Time Independent Contractor
Imagine a client’s first weeks with CAS feeling organized, clear, and confident. You make that happen.
01 | About the Role
You’ll be the first point of contact for new CAS clients, supporting growing US accounting firms and businesses as they start working with us. You make sure the setup is complete, expectations are clear, and every client sees value early. This is a full-time independent contractor role with exclusivity. No other engagements after hire.
You see onboarding as a system: clean inputs, smooth handoffs, and a first experience clients remember. If you like turning a fresh start into a strong foundation, welcome.
The ideal candidate
You have accounting or bookkeeping experience, or a strong background from an adjacent field with clear aptitude and enthusiasm for the space
You can guide clients through a new process with patience and minimal supervision
You enjoy creating order (checklists, guides, documentation) and catching gaps early
You’re tech-curious and look for ways to make onboarding faster and simpler
You build trust through consistency, transparency, and simple explanations
02 | What You’ll Own
- Client Launch
- Great relationships start with a great first month.
Run onboarding calls and walk new clients through how working with CAS works
Make sure setup and account details are complete and accurate for every client you onboard
Work with our sales and placement teams to flag early concerns that could stop a prospect from moving forward
- Early Success
- Confidence is built in the first months.
Check in regularly during the first months and respond to questions promptly
Help clients see value quickly and build confidence in the partnership
Aim for strong client retention once the initial implementation period ends
- Resources and Insights
- Build the playbooks. Make onboarding repeatable.
Create simple guides, videos, and up-to-date documentation that make onboarding easier
Collect client feedback and pain points, and share them with the team to improve our service
Document best practices and improve internal workflows
03 | What You’ll Bring
Accounting or bookkeeping experience, or a strong background from an adjacent field with clear aptitude and enthusiasm for the space
2 to 3 years in a customer-facing role such as client services, onboarding, or customer success
Clear written and spoken English, with the ability to explain complex ideas simply
Strong attention to detail and a client-first mindset
Interest in process improvement, documentation, and operational efficiency
Familiarity with tools like Slack, Notion, HubSpot, or Salesforce
Ownership mentality: organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple onboardings at once
Comfortable working US business hours (or overlap) from home
Preferred (nice to have):
Experience creating training content such as guides, videos, or documentation
Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online
04 | How We Work
Quality: Checklists, clear notes, and documentation are part of every onboarding
Security: Best practices for data privacy, MFA, and least-privilege access, always
Collaboration: Slack and Zoom check-ins, shared task boards, and predictable review cycles
05 | Why CAS Is Different
We are not a gig platform. We are not a freelance marketplace. We are not short-term staffing. We invest in professionals who want to build a real career serving US clients.
At CAS, you get:
Permanent remote work, done right
Full company equipment provided (laptop, monitor, accessories)
15 days PTO annually plus local holidays off
Guaranteed annual increases
Referral rewards up to $1,000
Monthly flexible stipend (CAS Flex Perks)
Structured onboarding and support
A culture that actually shows up
06 | Contract and Exclusivity
This is an independent contractor engagement. Full-time exclusivity is required: candidates must not hold other part-time or freelance engagements once hired. Conflict-of-interest checks may apply.
