Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Angular 18, Spring Boot 3, JDK 17, Hibernate, and PostgreSQL.

Build, integrate, and optimize microservices using Spring Boot 3, Spring Batch, REST APIs, and event-driven patterns.

Define and develop API solutions leveraging IBM API Connect (APIC), AWS API Gateway, Google Apigee for governance, security, and lifecycle management.

Drive front-end excellence by building modern, performant UI components using Angular 18, RxJS .

Develop automated UI test suites using Playwright to ensure application quality and reliability.

Collaborate across product , architecture, platform, and cloud teams to ensure adherence to enterprise standards and high-quality solution design.

Design and implement data pipelines or integrations with AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, S3, and related AWS services.

Ensure high levels of security, performance, and reliability across services and applications.

Implement observability and monitoring using tools such as CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace or equivalent.

Participate in code reviews and contribute reusable, maintainable, and well-abstracted components.

Lead/ participate technical decision-making, evaluating trade-offs to deliver customer-centric solutions.

Mentor engineers and provide guidance on engineering practices, testing standards, and architectural patterns.

Work in an agile environment, managing multiple priorities with strong attention to detail and clear communication of risks and dependencies.

Required Skills & Experience

5–8 years of hands-on software engineering experience with strong specialization in either front-end (Angular) or back-end (Spring Boot) development.

Expertise with Java/JDK 17, Spring Boot 3, Spring Batch, Hibernate, and microservices architecture.

Strong understanding of microservices integration, distributed systems concepts, API lifecycle management, and integration patterns.

Experience with IBM API Connect (APIC) or equivalent enterprise API management platforms.

Proficiency in Angular 18, TypeScript, RxJS , modular architecture, and component-driven development (for front-end–focused candidates).

Hands-on experience with Playwright for automated UI testing.

Strong SQL experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, optimization, and performance tuning.

Familiarity with AWS services, including AWS Glue, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and cloud-native application deployment.

Experience with CI/CD tools (Code pipeline, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, uDeploy , or similar) and DevSecOps principles.

Solid understanding of application security, authentication/authorization, and secure coding practices.

Strong problem-solving, communication, leadership, and cross-team collaboration skills.
