As a Critical Incident affiliate clinician, you will provide on-site group and individual critical incident support to TELUS Health's corporate clients within the UK and Ireland, on an as-needed basis. You will be working as an independent contractor based on your ability to accept assignments. How you will make an impact:

  • You will travel on-site to deliver critical incident response to groups of employees and individuals following a traumatic workplace event
  • You will also deliver virtual critical incident response to groups of employees and individuals for the same, where agreed
  • You will manage related administration as required by TELUS Health’s Critical Incident department.

Requirements:

  • Counselling qualification to BACP/IACP accreditation level or with equivalent qualifications/experience.
  • Current membership of a recognised professional body – BACP, IACP, UKCP, HCPC or equivalent.
  • Training in Psychological First Aid
  • Experience of delivering on site trauma support following critical incidents.
  • Professional indemnity insurance of at least £1,000,000.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites.
  • The ability to act professionally and represent TELUS Health appropriately on site with customer organisations.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience is desirable.
  • Training in trauma focused interventions such as Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) and working with PTSD clients is desirable.
