About Stripe
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About the team
Our tax team works with Stripes across the company to develop an efficient tax structure, as our international business scales and expands into new markets. We are looking for a well-rounded and seasoned tax professional to help us lead this effort.

The candidate will be able to work with a high level of collegiality, working on projects spanning multiple teams. The position will be based in the US and report to the International Indirect Tax Advisory Lead.
Responsibilities
Be an indirect tax subject matter expert (global VAT/GST) and resource to our business and finance teams in Stripe, managing aspects of our indirect tax planning and operations

Who you are

4–6 years of relevant indirect tax knowledge, laws, and regulations
