Industrial Maintenance Technician- Overnight (Mon-Fri 9:30pm-5:30am)

Description

Spectra Gutter Systems is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Industrial Maintenance Technician-Overnight (Mon-Fri 9:30pm-5:30 am) to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment, including coil coating lines, coil slitting lines, and automated production machinery.

The ideal candidate is a skilled multi-craft technician with strong mechanical, electrical, and industrial controls experience. We are looking for an inquisitive, proactive problem-solver who can work independently, diagnose complex equipment issues, and minimize production downtime.

Responsibilities

• •Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial production equipment.
• •Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• •Diagnose issues involving PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors, relays, and industrial control systems.
• •Repair and maintain gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains, pumps, valves, and other mechanical components.
• •Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement long-term solutions.
• •Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
• •Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• •Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and maintain equipment reliability.
• •Maintain accurate maintenance records and CMMS work orders.
• •Follow OSHA regulations, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and company safety standards.

Requirements

• •High school diploma or GED; technical training or certification preferred.
• •Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• •Strong multi-craft troubleshooting skills, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• •Hands-on experience with, VFDs, motor controls, and industrial automation.
• •Working knowledge of and industrial control systems.
• •Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• •Experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial production machinery.
• •Strong problem-solving skills with an inquisitive, proactive, and self-starting attitude.
• •Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• •Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• •Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment.
• •Availability to work the overnight shift, 9:30 PM – 5:30 AM .
