IBC seeks an Information Technology (IT) Technician who is ministry-minded – an “all-in” team player. This position is responsible for assisting the IT Director with managing, maintaining and properly securing the church IBC’s IT systems.

The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting IBC operations behind-the-scenes with excellence to enable the Church to focus on Gospel teaching, preaching, and ministry activities.

Responsibilities:

Assist the IT Director in a variety of areas, including, but not limited to, the following:

• •Church management databases
• •Computer hardware and software
• •Internet connectivity
• •Related components and systems
• •Servers
• •Telephone system
• •Website platform
• •Wired and wireless internal networks

Requirements

Suitable candidates will be comfortable troubleshooting common hardware and software problems. They should understand basic database and server administration. They should understand basic networking concepts and be familiar with operating Windows. Programming skills are “nice to have” but not essential. Candidates should have good time management and communication skills and will exemplify excellent customer service. This role may occasionally require work outside of standard business hours. This position includes a three-month, performance-based probationary period to assess skills and team suitability. The successful candidate must become a member of Immanuel Bible Church within 90 days of their start date.
