Injury Management Advisor

Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, the Injury Management Advisor (IMA) provides clinical guidance and support to Case Managers, helping to deliver evidence-based injury management and sustainable return to work outcomes.

About You

You are an experienced professional with a strong understanding of injury recovery, rehabilitation and return to work principles. You are confident building relationships with a range of stakeholders and enjoy mentoring others to achieve positive outcomes.

You will bring:

• •A qualification in an allied health or health-related discipline (such as Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Nursing or a similar field)
• •Experience developing and implementing injury management and return to work plans
• •The ability to assess clinical information and collaborate with treating practitioners to achieve the best recovery outcomes
• •Strong coaching and communication skills, with the ability to support and develop Case Managers
• •Experience facilitating case conferences, claims reviews and stakeholder discussions
• •Sound knowledge of medical terminology, treatment pathways and rehabilitation principles
• •Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• •A genuine passion for supporting people through their recovery journey

Desirable

• •Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation or Workers Compensation
• •Knowledge of injury management legislation and return to work frameworks
• •Project improvement or quality assurance experience
