Inpatient Pediatric Medical Coder

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Inpatient Pediatric Medical Coder based in United States.

• This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity focused on accurate and compliant inpatient pediatric medical coding.
• You will review clinical documentation, diagnoses, procedures, and diagnostic results to assign appropriate ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes.
• The role supports a broad range of pediatric hospital cases, including medical, surgical, cardiac, trauma, and maternal/newborn accounts.
• You will play an important role in maintaining coding accuracy, reimbursement integrity, regulatory compliance, and timely chart processing.
• The position combines independent coding responsibilities with collaboration across coding, clinical documentation, billing, IT, and facility teams.
• Success requires strong attention to detail, sound clinical coding judgment, and the ability to consistently meet quality and productivity expectations.
