Description

Gulfstar Industries is seeking an experienced Installation Technician / Operator to support installation and operational projects. This position requires previous hands-on experience working with forklifts, machinery, tools, and equipment in an industrial or construction-related environment.

Responsibilities

Perform installation, assembly, and equipment-related tasks as assigned.
Safely operate forklifts and other machinery/equipment.
Load, unload, move, stage, and position materials and equipment.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and other job-specific equipment.
Assist with equipment setup, installation, adjustment, and basic troubleshooting.
Inspect equipment before use and report maintenance or safety concerns.
Follow job-specific instructions, safety procedures, and company policies.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Work effectively with supervisors and other crew members to complete projects safely and efficiently.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Previous industrial, construction, installation, manufacturing, or similar hands-on experience required.
Forklift operating experience required.
Experience operating machinery and industrial equipment required.
Ability to safely and confidently operate equipment with minimal supervision.
Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong attention to safety and detail.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting throughout the workday.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous installation technician or equipment operator experience.
Forklift certification.
Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, construction, or equipment installation environments.
Experience with multiple types of powered equipment or machinery.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate relevant equipment and machinery experience. This position is intended for applicants with previous hands-on experience and is not considered an entry-level equipment operator position.
