Position Overview
The role provides consulting services on Integrated Eligibility (IE) systems projects focused on SNAP and TANF public assistance programs. This role ensures that eligibility rules, integrations, and workflows are thoroughly validated and aligned with state and federal policy requirements. The position will follow a hybrid work model, combining onsite and remote work.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 8+ experience in Integrated Eligibility (SNAP and TANF programs) systems.
- Deep understanding of eligibility rules and benefits determination programs
- Development background (Java with ReactJS)
- Experience developing batch and real-time interfaces
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Lead Developer, providing technical leadership, architectural guidance, and hands-on development support across the Worker, Self-Service, and Provider Portals within the Integrated Eligibility (IE) system.
- Lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of application components, ensuring alignment with SNAP, TANF, and other applicable program requirements.
- Perform hands-on coding, complex defect resolution, code reviews, and root cause analysis to identify technical issues and implement effective, sustainable solutions.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, Scrum testers, QA teams, and program SMEs to ensure functional accuracy, technical feasibility, and seamless end-to-end processing.
- Coordinate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to support code deployments, release management, environment readiness, and post-deployment validation.
Preferred
Familiarity with Azure cloud
