Role Overview

We are looking for an Interior Design Lead who can take ownership of the design function while leading and managing a team of interior designers . The role will be responsible for setting design direction, managing the team's workload and deliverables, and ensuring projects are delivered within timelines, budgets and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and mentor the interior design team , allocating projects and monitoring individual deliverables.
  • Own the end-to-end design process for new stores, renovations and expansion projects.
  • Set design direction and ensure consistency with the brand's look, feel and customer experience.
  • Review and approve layouts, design concepts, working drawings, BOQs and material specifications .
  • Manage design timelines and ensure the team meets project milestones.
  • Coordinate with Projects, Operations, Procurement, Real Estate, consultants and vendors .
  • Conduct site visits and ensure design intent is maintained during execution.
  • Drive cost optimisation and value engineering while maintaining design quality.
  • Build and maintain design standards, processes and guidelines for the organisation.
  • Identify and develop team capabilities through regular feedback, mentoring and performance management.
  • Manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.

What We’re Looking For

  • 8–12+ years of experience in interior design , preferably QSR, café, retail or hospitality.
  • Proven experience managing and leading a team of designers .
  • Strong understanding of commercial interiors, space planning, materials and project execution.
  • Strong design judgement with the ability to balance creative, operational and commercial requirements .
  • Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and relevant design software.
  • Strong ownership, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment .
