Munters is a global leader in climate solutions for mission-critical environments. Our Data Center Service Engineering team is looking for an Intermediate Field Controls Technician to support advanced cooling systems at customer sites across the U.S.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting HVAC and controls systems, traveling to customer sites, and solving technical challenges in the field .

What You'll Do

• •Travel to customer jobsites— up to 75% on average —to troubleshoot and resolve HVAC and controls issues.
• •Provide technical support to Field Service Technicians onsite and remotely.
• •Troubleshoot controls programs, HMI systems, and unit/system interfaces.
• •Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues.
• •Support new product development and testing at Munters facilities.
• •Assist with prototype builds and provide feedback to Engineering and R&D.
• •Participate in Kaizen and cross-functional improvement initiatives.
• •Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction projects.
• •Work independently while collaborating with Service, Engineering, R&D, and Operations teams.

What We're Looking For

• •2–4 years of industry experience or relevant trade school/certification.
• •Experience troubleshooting HVAC equipment and controls systems .
• •Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams .
• •Knowledge of HVAC components including compressors, valves, fans, and heat exchangers.
• •Experience working with equipment involving sheet metal, piping, valves, and heat exchangers.
• •Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• •Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• •Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• •Willingness and ability to travel extensively—up to 75% .
• •Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in active industrial/customer environments.
