Position Summary: Inter Miami CF is looking for an Intern, Software Engineer to support the development of internal applications, tools, and technology solutions. This role will contribute to both front-end and back-end development, helping build scalable solutions that improve internal processes, data accessibility, and business operations across the organization .

This is a paid, part-time internship within our Number 10 Internship program for the 2027 Sprint Season cohort.

Responsibilities:

• •Support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of internal web applications and tools.
• •Contribute to both front-end and back-end development.
• •Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using PHP, Java, JavaScript, or similar programming languages.
• •Develop and maintain integrations between internal applications, databases, APIs, and third-party systems.
• •Work with SQL and relational databases to retrieve, manage, and structure data used by internal applications.
• •Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing applications and technical solutions.
• •Collaborate with the BI team and other departments to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• •Support the documentation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of internally developed applications.
• •Research and apply software development best practices and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• •Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field, or recently graduated from a related program
• •Knowledge of front-end and back-end development and general software development principles
• •Experience or coursework using programming languages such as PHP, Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar
• •Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, APIs, and web application development
• •Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development concepts
• •Familiarity with Git/version control and software development workflows is a plus
• •Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• •Bilingual (English and Spanish) fluency is a plus
• •Passion for fútbol is a plus
