About the job

What is Value Stream Mapping (VSM)?

Value Stream Mapping, or VSM, is a powerful visualization tool used to analyze and improve the flow

of materials and information required to deliver a product or service. It helps organizations see every

step in a process—from start to finish—highlighting value-adding activities as well as those that cause

delays or waste. By creating a detailed map of the entire value stream, teams can identify

inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and unnecessary steps. This insight enables targeted improvements that

reduce lead times, minimize waste, enhance quality, and ultimately increase customer satisfaction.

More than just a diagram, VSM is a strategic approach that fosters communication, alignment, and

continuous improvement across departments, helping businesses deliver value faster and more

efficiently. In short, Value Stream Mapping transforms complexity into clarity, empowering

organizations to work smarter and deliver more value with less effort.

About you
