Investment Banking Analyst, Data Centers & Emerging Telecom – New York City

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Analyst to join our Data Centers & Emerging Telecom team in New York. You will be a core member of transaction teams, supporting financial analysis and execution while helping senior bankers develop ideas and engage with clients. This role offers the opportunity to work on M&A, financing and strategic advisory assignments involving data center and telecommunications businesses and related digital infrastructure. You will translate sector research and operating assumptions into financial models, valuation analyses and transaction materials, working closely with Associates, senior bankers, clients and other advisors.

Responsibilities:

• •Build and maintain financial and valuation models, including operating forecasts, discounted cash flow, comparable company and precedent transaction analyses, and transaction scenarios
• •Analyze the commercial drivers of data center and emerging telecommunications businesses, including, as relevant, contracted capacity, utilization, development pipelines, capital expenditures and power availability, and incorporate findings into forecasts and valuation analyses
• •Prepare client presentations, marketing materials and transaction analyses that clearly communicate sector dynamics, company positioning and strategic alternatives
• •Support M&A, financing and strategic advisory execution, including due diligence, data gathering, process tracking, documentation and coordination with transaction teams
• •Research data center and emerging telecommunications markets, participants, transaction activity and investor priorities to support origination and client discussions
• •Take ownership of the accuracy and timeliness of assigned analyses and deliverables, incorporating feedback from Associates and senior bankers
• •Support client and advisor interactions through thoughtful preparation, responsive follow-up and well-organized analytical materials

Preferred Qualifications :

• •Relevant Investment Banking and/or Mergers & Acquisitions experience; exposure to data center, telecommunications or related digital infrastructure businesses preferred
• •Strong foundational financial modeling, accounting and valuation skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• •Ability to manage multiple assignments, take ownership of analytical work and collaborate effectively with transaction teams
• •Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare well-organized presentations and explain analytical findings
• •Strong attention to detail, sound judgment and intellectual curiosity, with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines and deliver accurate work under pressure

Education:

Undergraduate degree; focus in finance, business, accounting, economics, mathematics is preferred

Expected Salary Range: USD $110,000 - $135,000
