About this role

As a part of our collective, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the mobile experience for our global courier network.

We are searching for proactive individuals who share our enthusiasm for gaining a deep, comprehensive mastery of our systems to architect premier solutions.

Technical Foundation: our codebase is 90% Swift, with a steadfast commitment to Modularization and Clean Architecture principles.

What will you bring to the team?

• •Technical Ownership: Exercise complete authority over feature lifecycles, spanning from Microservices API contract definition to final UI delivery.
• •Complex Problem Solving: Navigate sophisticated engineering hurdles including background location persistence, offline data synchronization, and intelligent routing logic.
• •Team Empowerment: Champion rigorous code reviews and contribute to the continuous optimization of our CI/CD deployment pipelines.

Location: Hybrid- 3 days a week from our office & 2 days working from home

Reporting to: Technology Manager

These are some of the key components to the position:

• •Product Definition: Collaborate with engineering teams and Product Managers in workshops to contribute significantly to defining new product features.
• •Technical Ownership: Consistently deliver high-quality software that meets team best practices and expectations.
• •Project Management: Take complete ownership of components you develop, managing timelines and transparently communicating progress towards wider team and organizational goals.
• •Cross-Functional Communication: Share your progress and ideas with your team, and contribute to the growth of the iOS guild by sharing new development practices, patterns, and standards.
• •Inner Source Model Support: As a Trusted Committer , you'll play a vital role in supporting contributing teams to integrate their features into our codebase.

What will you bring to the team?

We're looking for a collaborative, proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for innovation. Your technical toolkit should include:

• •Engineering Excellence: Expertise in crafting object-oriented, high-performance software characterized by exceptional readability and maintainability.
• •Language Mastery: Extensive professional experience with the Swift programming language.

Architectural Proficiency: Proven track record implementing diverse design patterns, including MVVM, VIPER, or MVP.

• •Backend Integration: Demonstrated capability in interfacing with server-side APIs within a complex Microservices ecosystem.
• •Modular Design: A profound understanding of building software through decoupled, reusable components.
• •Collaborative Mindset: Enthusiasm for pair programming, rigorous code reviews, and proactive knowledge exchange.
• •Adaptability: Ability to thrive within a high-growth, fast-paced, and evolving technical environment.
• •Articulation: Superior verbal and written communication skills in English.
