What You'll Be Doing

Job Scope: Generally responsible for performing routine maintenance and support of technical systems using theoretical knowledge and practical methods. This work will be performed under direct supervision.

Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• •Assisting in developing new procedures.
• •Assisting with setup of new computers and network devices.

Ideal Background

Education: Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master of Science degree program for computer science or related field at an accredited university is required. GPA: 2.7 or above

• •Familiarity with standards and codes.
• •Familiarity with and utilization of department standards.
• •Familiarity with networking and communication methods.
• •Working knowledge of computer systems.
• •Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
• •Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
