As an IT Solution Architect - Applications, you will lead the design and evolution of enterprise solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, high-performing, and aligned with business objectives. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions that create lasting value for our customers and organization.

What You'll Do

Drive Technology Strategy & Architecture

• •Define, recommend, and evolve solution architectures aligned with business and technology roadmaps.
• •Establish architectural principles, standards, and best practices that support innovation and sustainable growth.
• •Design and document system architectures, integrations, and technology blueprints.
• •Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture objectives.

Partner with Business & Project Teams

• •Collaborate with business leaders, project managers, developers, and technical teams to define solution requirements.
• •Provide architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to implementation.
• •Assess technical feasibility, risks, and costs associated with proposed solutions.
• •Support project planning, scope definition, and technology decision-making.

Champion Architecture Governance

• •Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards and target-state architecture.
• •Drive consistency, efficiency, and reusability across platforms and applications.
• •Review solution designs and provide recommendations to optimize performance, maintainability, and long-term sustainability.
• •Monitor emerging technologies and recommend innovations that can enhance the organization's capabilities.

What You Bring

• •University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• •3 to 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture or a similar technical leadership role.
• •Experience implementing and integrating complex enterprise systems and applications.
• •Strong understanding of application architecture, system integration, cloud technologies, and enterprise platforms.
• •Experience with Microsoft technologies and Azure Cloud is considered a strong asset.
• •Experience within retail, distribution, or high-volume transactional environments is an asset.
• •Strategic mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• •Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
• •Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• •Bilingualism (English and French), both spoken and written, is required to support collaboration with stakeholders across Canada and internationally.
