IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN)

Summary

You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) in the NAVAL INFORMATION WARFARE CENTER PACIFIC of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.

Duties

• •You will manage and perform work that involves developing, delivering or supporting IT systems and services.
• •You will provide expert technical and programmatic advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and stakeholders on critical IT issues.
• •You will undertake and complete complex tasks with multiple dependencies independently, mentors others regularly, and leads others to accomplish complex goals.
• •You will develop and prepare IT investment budgets and cost estimates including Government Contract Performance Work Statements (PWS) and Statements-of Requirements (SORs).
• •You will apply oral and written communication skills to interface effectively with personnel at all levels and has proven ability to support briefings or presentations to mid-level stakeholders.

Qualifications

NO-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or NO-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical advisement and workforce planning in the development, integration and production of IT activities and assessments related to Network Integration Engineering Facility (NIEF), as well as demonstrated experience as an IT project lead managing project features such as developing technical documentation, advising on matters related to IT workforce project planning and executing IT Investment budgets. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. NO-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or NO-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: or NO-03 pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing technical support in the development, integration and production of IT activities and assessments related to Network Integration Engineering Facility (NIEF), as well as demonstrated experience providing IT project management support, preparing technical documentation, presenting advisement on matters related to IT workforce project planning and managing IT Investment budgets. Education

NO-04: ONLY In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
