DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:

The IT Department at UNIQLO Vietnam plays a critical role in enabling seamless retail operations and driving digital transformation across stores, warehouses, and corporate offices. Our team is responsible for managing robust IT infrastructure, secure networks, and innovative retail technologies that support UNIQLO global vision. We lead projects to enhance POS systems, IT devices, and applications, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction. With a strong focus on reliability, agility, and compliance, the department partners closely with global teams and vendors to deliver cutting-edge solutions. ROLE OVERVIEW:

The IT Supply Chain Management (SCM) position is responsible for supporting and enhancing IT solutions across Warehouse and Supply Chain operations. This role serves as the key liaison between Logistics, Warehouse operations, Global IT teams, and external vendors to ensure stable system operations, effective incident management, and successful delivery of SCM-related projects.

The position requires frequent engagement with warehouse operations, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to bridge business requirements with technology solutions.

Note: this is an Individual contributor role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Warehouse & Supply Chain operations support

Develop a strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics processes, and supply chain workflows.

Provide day-to-day IT support for Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related SCM applications.

Regularly visit warehouse sites to monitor system performance, understand operational challenges, and support business users.

Ensure stable operation of IT systems supporting inbound, outbound, inventory management, and warehouse activities.

Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to identify operational improvement opportunities.

2. Incident Management & Troubleshooting

Act as the primary IT contact for warehouse and SCM-related incidents.

Investigate system issues and coordinate recovery actions with business users, vendors, and Global IT teams.

Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and drive permanent corrective actions.

Monitor incident trends and proactively recommend preventive measures to improve system stability.

Escalate critical issues appropriately while ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.

3. SCM Project Implementation

Participate in the implementation of warehouse and supply chain transformation initiatives.

Support projects related to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), logistics platforms, warehouse automation, and new warehouse deployment.

Coordinate project activities among business users, vendors, and Global IT teams.

Support requirement gathering, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), rollout, and hypercare activities.

Track project progress and report project status to stakeholders.

4. Business Process Improvement

Gather and analyze business requirements from Logistics and Warehouse teams.

Propose system and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Create and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and knowledge repositories.

Support continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and supply chain functions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related fields.

3+ years of experience in SCM systems, WMS, ERP, or related areas.­

Good understanding of warehouse operations and logistics processes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience working with business users and cross-functional teams.

Ability to communicate effectively in English with regional and global stakeholders.

Willingness to travel and work onsite at warehouse locations nationwide when required.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), or ERP solutions.

Experience in Retail, E-commerce, Logistics, or Supply Chain industries.

Knowledge of Coding, SQL, data analysis, or reporting tools.

Project management experience.

Experience working with global or regional teams.
