About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join our Onsite Technology team in Mexico City. In this role, you will provide hands-on IT support across workplace technologies, infrastructure, asset lifecycle management, and end-user services. You will play a key role in ensuring reliable technology operations, supporting business users, including VIP stakeholders, and contributing to technology projects that enable business continuity and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite technical support for incidents, service requests, and workplace technology needs across supported business units.
  • Manage the IT asset lifecycle, including installation, relocation, configuration, upgrades, and decommissioning of devices and equipment.
  • Support hardware and software asset management, inventory accuracy, tracking, and compliance activities.
  • Troubleshoot end-user devices, printers, collaboration technologies, LAN connectivity, and local infrastructure issues.
  • Deliver high-quality support for VIP users while ensuring service level commitments are met.
  • Coordinate local technology projects, hardware and software upgrades, and procurement activities in line with company processes.
  • Promote and follow cyber security standards, IT service management practices, and business continuity requirements.

Who we are looking for

  • 3+ years of IT support experience within a large and preferably global organization.
  • Strong experience supporting end-user computing environments, workplace technologies, and onsite infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, file and print services, and device troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting collaboration technologies, video conferencing solutions, and communication platforms.
  • Understanding of server and network troubleshooting, asset management, and IT service delivery principles; ITIL knowledge is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and stakeholder management skills, including experience supporting VIP users.
  • Strong sense of ownership, initiative, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
