Java Senior developer

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.

Build scalable, secure, and high-performance RESTful APIs and services for business applications.

Architect and implement microservices-based solutions aligned with business and enterprise architecture standards.

Develop and manage API integrations with internal and external systems.

Participate in application design, technical solutioning, code reviews, and architecture discussions.

Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable software solutions.

Implement API management, service orchestration, and inter-service communication patterns.

Ensure application performance, reliability, security, and scalability through best practices and design principles.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, architects, QA teams, and DevOps engineers.

Troubleshoot complex application issues and provide root-cause analysis and resolution.

Develop reusable frameworks, common services, and shared components to improve development efficiency.

Implement automated testing, CI/CD practices, and deployment strategies for microservices environments.

Monitor application health, optimize system performance, and ensure operational excellence.

Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, design reviews, and retrospectives.

Create and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and solution design documents.

Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on Java and Microservices best practices.
