We're looking for a skilled diesel, gas and heavy equipment technician to diagnose and repair equipment in the field. You'll work independently from a fully equipped service truck and help keep our crews and customers moving.

Perform routine and preventive maintenance (engine, hydraulic, coolant, transmission, and differential services) on a range of equipment, both in the field and in the shop.

Adjust functional parts and control instruments to manufacturer specifications.

Perform brake, suspension, steering, and tire service.

Lubricate and grease equipment as needed.

Respond to emergency breakdown calls to reduce downtime, including on-call.

Operate, inspect, and maintain the assigned service truck and its equipment (crane, compressor, generator, welder), and keep it stocked with parts, fluids, and tools.

Follow all company safety policies, OSHA and WA L&I/DOSH requirements, and job-site safety rules, including lockout/tagout and PPE.

Handle, store, and dispose of used fluids, filters, and hazardous materials according to environmental and SDS guidelines.

Reorder parts from local vendors as needed and keep parts inventory current.

Complete repair orders for all finished work, listing labor hours and every part used, and keep accurate service records.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
