Junior AIT Engineer

We are seeking an Junior AIT Engineer  to join our team in Portsmouth, supporting the assembly, integration and testing of advanced aerospace and space systems within a highly regulated environment.

• •Location: Portsmouth
• •On Site: Fully onsite
• •Clearance: Clearable 
• •Experience Level: Junior

Key Responsibilities:

• •Perform assembly, integration and test activities in accordance with engineering procedures and work instructions.
• •Prepare hardware and equipment for integration and testing activities.
• •Support electrical and mechanical integration of aerospace and space systems.
• •Execute functional tests and record test results accurately.
• •Identify and report non-conformances, anomalies and defects.
• •Complete manufacturing and quality documentation in line with project requirements.
• •Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
• •Ensure compliance with quality, safety and cleanliness requirements.
• •Support continuous improvement initiatives within the AIT environment

Required Skills:

• •Space or Aerospace Engineering background
• •Ability to interpret engineering drawings, procedures and technical documentation.
• •Strong practical and hands-on engineering skills.
• •Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• •Experience working to strict processes and procedures.
• •Good communication and teamwork skills.
• •Flexible and proactive approach to problem solving.

Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering , or  equivalent   military experience .
