Job Description – Jr. Executive – Maintenance Asahi Modi Materials Pvt. Ltd. Location Qualification Experience Working Days Weekly Off Jhagadia, Bharuch, Gujarat B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering 2+ years of relevant plant maintenance experience 6 days per week Monday Shift Key responsibilities General Shift • Handle preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant equipment. • Support troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities. • Monitor and maintain utility systems and daily meter readings. • Maintain daily maintenance logs, reports and ISO records. • Support spare-parts inventory and maintenance store activities. • Assist in shutdown maintenance and plant/facility maintenance. • Identify equipment problems and follow up on corrective actions. • Support Kaizen and maintenance improvement activities. • Follow all safety procedures, SOPs and ISO requirements. Skills & technical requirements • Good knowledge of mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors and conveyors. • Hands-on experience in preventive maintenance (PM) and breakdown maintenance. • Basic knowledge of utility systems, maintenance documentation and spare-parts management. • Good troubleshooting, problem-solving and coordination skills. • Ability to read and follow maintenance SOPs, safety procedures and ISO requirements. • Manufacturing/industrial plant maintenance experience preferred. • Comfortable working at the Jhagadia plant in the general shift. • Gujarati-speaking/local candidates from Bharuch, Ankleshwar, Jhagadia and nearby areas preferred. Candidate profile The ideal candidate should have a Mechanical Engineering background with relevant industrial plant maintenance experience, practical exposure to preventive and breakdown maintenance, and a strong focus on safety, documentation and equipment reliability.
