Description:

The Role

We are seeking a Junior Full-Stack Engineer, Generative AI to join our technology organization and contribute to the development of enterprise-grade, AI-enabled applications. This role is designed for early-career engineers who are eager to grow their full-stack skills while gaining hands-on experience with applied generative AI in real-world systems.

You will work as part of a collaborative engineering team, contributing to the design, development, and operation of AI-enabled web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies, Large Language Models (LLMs), and cloud infrastructure. You will be supported by more experienced engineers and will grow your skills through hands-on delivery, feedback, and mentorship.

In this role, you will learn how enterprise software is built, deployed, and maintained, while applying generative AI responsibly within established engineering standards and practices. This role will be based in Cluj and has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

What we will rely on you to do

· Contribute to the development and maintenance of full-stack web applications under the guidance of more experienced engineers.

· Implement frontend features using React with TypeScript (or similar frameworks).

· Support the development of backend services and APIs using NodeJS / NestJS or Python (FastAPI / Django).

· Assist with integrating LLM-based capabilities into applications using established patterns and guidance.

· Help evolve proofs of concept into stable, production-ready features within defined scope.

· Write clean, readable, and well-tested code following established engineering standards.

· Participate in code reviews, learning from feedback and improving code quality over time.

· Support deployment and operation of applications on cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS) with guidance.

· Work with SQL and NoSQL data stores under direction.

· Collaborate with teammates in an Agile delivery environment, participating in stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

· Demonstrate curiosity, a willingness to learn, and openness to feedback.

What you need to have:

· 1 - 2 years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent experience through internships, placements, or relevant projects.

· Foundational knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript and at least one modern frontend framework (React preferred).

· Basic experience with backend development using NodeJS or Python.

· Familiarity with RESTful APIs and client-server concepts.

· Exposure to cloud-based systems or interest in learning cloud technologies.

· Basic understanding of Agile development practices.

· Interest in generative AI and how LLMs can be applied in software systems.

· Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

What makes you stand out:

These are not mandatory, but strong candidates typically show interest or early exposure in some of the following areas:

· Hands-on experimentation with LLMs through APIs or tooling.

· Familiarity with concepts such as prompting, basic evaluation, or simple RAG patterns.

· Academic, personal, or early professional projects involving AI-enabled applications.

· Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) through coursework or projects.

· Curiosity about software quality, security, and reliability, even if experience is still developing.

What can you expect:

· A supportive environment focused on learning, growth, and mentorship

· Hands-on experience building real enterprise AI solutions

· Clear progression paths to mid-level and senior engineering roles

· A collaborative and inclusive engineering culture

· Access to modern technologies and best practices

· Competitive compensation and benefits aligned with local market practices

Why join our team:

· Performance bonus scheme.

· Matching charity contributions, charity days off, and the Pay it Forward charity challenge.

· Core benefits: Pension, Life and Medical Insurance, Meal Vouchers, Travel Insurance.
