This role is part of a growing effort to develop agentic AI solutions that address complex business challenges. Working with modern technologies, the position contributes to the delivery of scalable, innovative systems with tangible business impact.

💰Compensation details: for this role the monthly starting salary is 2.860 EUR Gross (yearly starting salary 40.040 EUR). We consistently benchmark our salaries against top competitors and every P&G employee’s salary is reviewed at least annually so there is ample room for growth.

As a Junior Gen AI Engineer , you will collaborate with Product Owners and warehouse operations stakeholders to understand business needs and develop AI-powered solutions that enhance warehousing, distribution, and logistics processes. From solution design and implementation to deployment and optimization, you will contribute to technologies that support critical supply chain operations and deliver measurable business value.

Key responsibilities include:

• •Design, develop, and test Generative AI applications and features using Python and modern AI frameworks.
• •Build proof-of-concepts and contribute to the development of scalable AI solutions that address business and warehouse operations needs.
• •Develop and maintain AI-powered applications, APIs, and integrations with enterprise systems and data sources.
• •Participate in prompt engineering, model evaluation, and continuous improvement activities to enhance solution performance and quality.
• •Support solution deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization across the application lifecycle.
• •Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior engineers while applying software engineering, security, and responsible AI best practices.

Job Qualifications

Our ideal candidate has:

General qualifications:

• •Minimum Bachelor’s degree graduates with studies in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Information Technology , or a related field.
• •Any previous experience in software engineering, data engineering, AI engineering, or a related area is preferred.
• •Proficiency in English language (both in writing and speaking).
• •Completed/Permanently exempt from Military Service Requirement (if applicable).
• •Ability to collaborate effectively within diverse and cross-functional teams in a fast-evolving technical environment.

Generative AI and Data Skills:

• •Foundational understanding of Generative AI concepts, Large Language Models, prompt engineering, and AI model evaluation .
• •Familiarity with data preparation, processing, and data pipeline concepts used in AI application development.
• •Interest in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, agentic AI architectures, and frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or similar technologies.

Software Engineering Skills:

• •Previous experience in Python and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software development fundamentals.
• •Familiarity with API development, databases, systems integration, and software engineering practices, including testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• •Previous experience with GitHub or other source-control tools, as well as coding standards, code reviews, and Agile development methodologies.

Cloud and DevOps Skills:

• •Basic knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure .
• •Familiarity with Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI Services, or other cloud-based AI platforms is considered an advantage.
• •Foundational understanding of CI/CD and DevOps concepts.
• •Basic awareness of application monitoring, logging, and deployment practices.
