  • Maintain accurate records of IT vendor spend, recurring charges, and contract-related expenses.
  • Assist with vendor account reconciliations and follow up on outstanding invoices or credits.
  • Support proper classification of IT expenses, including software, hardware, cloud services, professional services, telecommunications, and maintenance agreements.

Month-End Financial Close:

  • Assist with month-end close activities for IT expenses, including preparing accruals, reclasses, journal entry support, and variance analysis.
  • Review actual spend against budget and forecast to identify trends, discrepancies, or unusual activity.
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and commentary for IT management and Finance stakeholders.
  • Work with Corporate Accounting to ensure IT expenses are recorded accurately and in the appropriate period.
  • Maintain supporting documentation for month-end close activities and audit requests.
  • Help monitor prepaid expenses, capital expenditures, depreciation, and amortization schedules as needed.

Monthly Forecasting and Budget Support:

  • Assist the IT Finance Analyst in preparing forecast templates, consolidating inputs, and analyzing changes from prior forecast, budget, and actuals.
  • Leverage AI and other tools to automate IT Financial processes and reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 1+ years of experience in finance, accounting, accounts payable, financial analysis, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, Tableau).
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of financial data.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:
