Position Summary

The Kids Cave Team Member provides a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment for children while their parents enjoy the amenities of River Place Country Club. This role is responsible for supervising children, facilitating age-appropriate activities, maintaining a clean and organized space, and delivering exceptional member service to club families. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• •Supervise children in a safe, attentive, and caring manner.
• •Provide age-appropriate games, crafts, activities, and entertainment.
• •Ensure children follow Kids Cave rules and safety guidelines.
• •Create a welcoming, friendly, and inclusive atmosphere for all children and families.
• •Monitor and maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized childcare environment.
• •Assist with snack times and communicate any child needs or concerns to parents.
• •Handle check-in and check-out procedures according to club standards.
• •Respond appropriately to emergencies, accidents, or behavioral issues.
• •Communicate professionally with members and fellow team members.
• •Assist with special events, holiday programs, camps, and family activities as needed.
• •Ensure all club policies regarding child supervision and safety are followed.

Qualifications

• •Previous experience working with children preferred.
• •High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• •CPR, First Aid, and AED certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
• •Ability to interact positively with children of various ages.
• •Strong communication and customer service skills.
• •Dependable, punctual, and professional appearance.
• •Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• •Strong child supervision and safety awareness.
• •Ability to lead group activities and engage children in a positive manner.
• •Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm when working with children.
• •Ability to multitask in a fast-paced family environment.
• •Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements

• •Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• •Ability to actively participate in games and activities with children.
• •Ability to work indoors for extended periods while maintaining supervision of multiple children.

Work Environment

• •Indoor childcare facility within River Place Country Club.
• •Frequent interaction with children, parents, members, and club staff.
• •Schedule may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and special event hours.
