  • You will develop and validate numerical signal processing algorithms for mobile 5G/6G ISAC scenarios using simulations and measurements from an SDR testbed combining RF, fiber optic, and quantum sensing.
  • Depending on your background, you will conduct algorithm research and contribute to real-time experiments using SDR hardware and reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS).

Together with experienced colleagues, you will engage in establishing a unique 6G distributed MIMO sensing testbed based on SDR technology using open-source tools such as GNU Radio, RFNoC and LabVIEW for real-time FPGA algorithm design operating from 0.4 - 20 GHz.

  • You will learn how to evaluate the results and prepare them for further studies.
  • You will publish your research results in international journals and present them at conferences.
  • You will accumulate experience in a research field, that has an enormous range of applications from construction, logistics, aviation and railways to agriculture, robotics and defense.
  • You will gain experience in a group of international scientists and build up your professional network within European wide research projects.
